Together, we can make a real difference when it matters most.

So, thanks to your generosity, we can be there when you need us the most.

About Us

Yorkshire Air Ambulance serves a population of approximately 5 million people, across the 3 million acres of Yorkshire.

Our fleet of air ambulances and two Rapid Response Vehicles (RRVs) operate from our air support units based at The Nostell Priory Estate near Wakefield and RAF Topcliffe near Thirsk to cover the region. Flying at speeds of up to 160 mph, we can reach 90% of Yorkshire within a 20-minute flight.
