Fans have an extra chance to take part!
The deadline to join Town's 2013 'Walk for Pounds' event, which raises money for the 'Keep It Up' campaign, has been extended by an extra week!
Town fans now have until 5pm on Monday 23rd September to sign up to the 19 mile walk, which will set off Yorkshire Air Ambulance's airbase at Leeds Bradford Airport to the Stadium in time for the home game against Watford on Saturday 5th October 2013.
Huddersfield Town's Supporter Partnerships Manager Robyn Deegan urged fans not to miss out: "The Club has decided to extend the deadline by an extra week to give supporters every opportunity to get involved in this fantastic event.
"We've already got over 120 fans signed up and we're hopeful we can get near the 180 who took part in the equivalent walk in 2012 as the more walkers we have, the more money we will raise for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Huddersfield Town Academy."
The event entry fee is £10 per person which includes a breakfast pre-walk, a snack and refreshment as well as an 'I completed the Walk' t-shirt. Coach transport from Canalside to LBIA is also included courtesy of Stotts Coaches.
Please note participants aged 15 and under must be supervised by an adult aged 18+ and will be required to complete a parental consent form.
