A calendar depicting Beverley in East Yorkshire during the lockdown has gone on sale to raise vital funds for the YAA and Beverley Civic Society.
Collin Bradshaw took more than 600 photos of deserted Beverley during his one hour of exercise in the midst of the first lockdown. The photos captured abandoned streets, shopping centres and town squares free from traffic and people.
The calendar is available to pre-order via Chris Burrows at the Beverley Civic Society for only £7. You can order the calendar on email – goodtymeshull@hotmail.com or via the ‘contact us’ link on the Beverley Civic Society website.
Bob Smailes, East Regional Fundraising Manager for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: “We would like to thank Colin Bradshaw and the Beverley Civic Society for their support and generosity. The calendar is a wonderful, innovative idea and a great way of showcasing Beverley’s sights and landmarks. It costs £12,000 a day to keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances maintained and in the air and the money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service.”
