Skipton Christmas Lights Switch On

We will be at Skipton’s Christmas Lights Switch On event on Skipton High Street on Sunday 28th November.
A full-day event packed full of festive entertainment for all the family!
Filled with festive food and drink, seasonal sing-alongs on the live music stage, and finally the best in local artisan and market stalls! Look out for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance stall and come and say hello.
The day starts with The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run, followed with a schedule packed with family-fun entertainment.
From Craven College’s Performing Arts, Gateways festival, Mark Gregory, Northern Dance Centre, and many, many more!
Hosted all day by the incredible Rombalds Radio!
Down on the canal basin, will be the fabulous Skipton Artisan Market filled with festive delights, as well as further live music!
Alongside this, there will be some fabulously fun children’s entertainment including; donkey rides along Otley Street, face painters, walkabout acts, and Waddington’s fun fair.
There will also be live performances on the High Street from; Skipton Brass, Addingham Choir, and The Accrington Pipe Band!
An amazing range of festive themed traders featuring some of the regions favourite artisan makers, producers and crafters!!
Combined with Skipton’s array of fabulous independent shops, it is the perfect opportunity to make a start on your Christmas shopping!
The Christmas lights switch-on is at 5 pm, with Santa and special guest Thisisluke!
