A number of Young Farmer Clubs across Yorkshire have committed to raising vital funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The YFC chose to support YAA for several reasons, many of which stem from the unique challenges and risks they face in rural areas.
The clubs are full of wonderful ideas and have organised many fundraising activities including fantastic community tractor runs, Christmas tree recycling, balls and raffles to support the Charity.
Recently East Community Fundraiser Kevin was invited to give a presentation on the life-saving work of YAA to the members of Kirkbymoorside YFC, where he was able to explain more about our vital service and how the involvement of the Young Farmers Clubs really makes a difference, helping to continue saving lives across the region.
Kevin said “Thank you to everyone connected to the Young Farmers Clubs across Yorkshire for their support towards Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Helping to raise the vital funds to keep our helicopters and crew serving the people of Yorkshire, and also helping to raise the awareness of the charity. The help and support from individuals and organisations like the Young Farmers Clubs is truly amazing”.
