Following being caught up in the Bali bombings, Tony looked to football to help with his mental health and created a sculpture of Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa. This was raffled off and donations went to Mind, however, he received great interest in the sculpture from fans afterwards so decided to create and sell miniature versions of the sculpture with all donations going to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Cieran Bingham and Martin House.
Helen Berriman, West Yorkshire Community Fundraiser, said: “We would like to thank Tony for his generosity and support and wish him well in his fundraising. It costs £12,000 a day to keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances maintained and in the air and the money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service.”
