Robin Hood Under 10s raise £250 for YAA in memory of Ian Stewart

Robin Hood Under 10s FC from Wakefield has raised £250 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance in memory of their coaches friend, Ian Stewart who was airlifted by us in October 2018 and sadly passed away.

The money was raised through an Easter raffle and the children were really interested to learn how it costs £12,000 a day to keep both of Yorkshire’s air ambulances airborne.

Helen Berriman, West Yorkshire Community Fundraiser for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: “We would like to thank Robin Hood Under 10s FC for their generosity and support and for raising £250 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service.”
