Crakehall Charity Fancy Dress Cricket Match

The Crakehall Charity Fancy Dress Cricket match will take place on Sunday 8th August on the Crakehall Village Green, near Bedale (DL8 1HP). The match will start at 12 pm.

It will be a fun-packed day with delicious refreshments, the very popular Tea and Cake tent, a raffle with prizes donated by lots of local businesses, tombola, and a fantastic auction of sporting memorabilia and experience days.

These charity games have raised in excess of £150,000 for local and national charities over the last 20 years, mainly due to the support and generosity of local people and businesses in Yorkshire and the North East. Yorkshire Air Ambulance are delighted to be the chosen charity this year and will be there with our new promotional vehicle, so be sure to come along and have a chat with our team about the work of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and take a seat in our pilot’s chair!

This was due to be the annual Emmerdale Charity Cricket Match, however due to the current Covid situation and filming commitments by the cast the decision has been made to postpone that event for this year. However, the family fun day will still go ahead as will a fancy dress cricket match. We hope that you will still join us for what will be a day filled with fun and laughter.
