Incident round up
Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Our rapid response vehicle was dispatched to an incident where a motorcycle ended up in a ditch in York. Our Critical Care Team provided on scene support for the injured rider and he was taken to hospital by road ambulance having sustained a chest injury.
