Incident round up
Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

We were dispatched to an incident in Ilkley where a male patient had fallen off his mountain bike and sustained serious head injuries. Our Critical Care Team accompanied the patient in the road ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.
