Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YAAA were called to Bessacarr in Doncaster at 9:51 AM on Monday, 21st July 2025, to a person who had fallen from a roof. They provided support at the scene before flying the person to hospital.

Our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YAIR were called to an incident on the outskirts of Leeds at 10:29 AM on Sunday, 20th July 2025, to a person who had suffered a cardiac arrest and fallen from a horse. The crew provided support at the scene.

Our Nostell-based crew and operational aircraft G-YAAA were called at 6:29 PM on Friday, 18th July 2025, to a person who had injured themselves with a knife near Doncaster. Our crew provided support at the scene before travelling to hospital with the patient by land ambulance.

Our Topcliffe-based crew and aircraft G-YORX were called to a road traffic collision in Sutton upon Derwent, near York, at 1:05 PM on Friday, 18th July 2025. They provided support at the scene, helping two patients, before flying one of the patients to hospital.

On Thursday, 17th July 2025, at 9:14 pm, our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YAIR were requested by a road ambulance crew who were on scene near Harrogate with a person suffering an open fracture to their ankle. They provided support at the scene before travelling with the person to hospital in the road ambulance.

At 4:50 pm on Thursday, 17th July 2025, our Topcliffe-based crew and aircraft G-YORX were called to a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle. They provided support at the scene before the injured motorcyclist was taken to hospital by the road ambulance crew.

They provided support at the scene before the land ambulance crew transferred the person to hospital. The YAA crew were tasked to another mission from the scene.
