Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

At 3:29 pm on Friday, 28th November 2025, our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YORX were called to a road traffic collision involving a cyclist, where the cyclist had gone into cardiac arrest. Sadly, the person passed away at the scene.
