Incident round up
Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Scarborough
At 18.48 we dispatched our Nostell aircraft to a farming incident in Scarborough. The patient was flown to a hospital for further treatment.

At 15.59 we dispatched our Topcliffe aircraft to a road traffic collision on the A165 in Bridlington. Our HEMS Paramedics treated the patient and travelled with the patient by road ambulance to the hospital.

At 15.27 we dispatched our Nostell Rapid Response Vehicle to a road traffic incident involving a pedestrian in Wakefield. Our Critical Care Team provided on-scene support and the patient was taken to a hospital by land ambulance.
