From storytelling sessions to hands-on activities, we offer a variety of engaging experiences that teach children about the importance of our Charity, inspire future careers, and instil values of corporate social responsibility.
YAA Super Sky Stars
Meet our lovable cartoon characters, the YAA Super Sky Stars.
These characters come to life in our storybook ‘Henry the Helicopter’s Emergency Mission’, and other educational materials, sparking imagination.
We can work with you to provide materials that will fit in with what your students are learning and help to meet specific elements of the curriculum.
Heli-Hop Challenge
Become Heli Hop Heroes during our Yellow Yorkshire awareness month in April, during which we ask everyone to help turn Yorkshire Yellow, celebrating all this Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Students can participate in a sponsored hop, skip, run or walk on a date in April decided by the education or childcare setting, while wearing a custom Heli-Hop headband, provided by YAA.
It’s a fun way to promote physical activity, whilst supporting a worthy cause. In addition, each child will receive a YAA certificate following their Heli-Hop, celebrating their commitment to making a positive impact within their local community.
Interactive Presentations
Our team delivers dynamic presentations tailored to the age and interests of your group. From learning about our life-saving missions to exploring the inner workings of our helicopters, there’s something for everyone to discover.
We adapt each session to suit the needs of your group, including the number of children, available time, and venue constraints.
Many schools and groups now actively encourage fundraising. Our talks inspire the children to help keep the helicopters flying and saving lives, and teach them how this is done through fundraising.
