Gift Aid
Your support means the world to us, and every Gift Aid declaration helps us make an even greater impact in saving lives across Yorkshire
What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities like Yorkshire Air Ambulance to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. This means that for every £1 you donate, we can claim an additional 25p from the government, at no extra cost to you.
How Does Gift Aid Help Yorkshire Air Ambulance?
Gift Aid provides a significant boost to our fundraising efforts. By reclaiming tax on your donations, we can increase the value of your contribution by 25%, allowing us to continue providing life-saving services across Yorkshire.
Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer and have paid enough tax to cover the amount we reclaim on your donations. If you’re a higher-rate taxpayer, you can also claim back the difference between the tax you’ve paid on the donation and what the charity received. This can be done through your Self Assessment tax return or by contacting HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to amend your tax code.
What Can I do If I Have Made a Donation in The Past But Not Declared Gift Aid?
If you have donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance in the last 4 years and have not yet declared Gift AId, you can still do so. Simply fill in the form below and enable us to claim Gift Aid on your eligible historical donations as well as on any future donations you make. We will use the information you provide to update your donor record, to claim Gift Aid from eligible historical donations and to process any future donations you make.
