Introducing Julie Wick, one of our friendly West Yorkshire Community Fundraisers at Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Julie officially joined our team in 2024, but she was no stranger to us, having dedicated two years as a registered volunteer before stepping into her current role.
Julie brings her enthusiasm and passion for the cause to a wide range of fundraising activities. Whether she is organising and attending events, hosting talks, working alongside our incredible volunteers, arranging bucket collections, or ensuring our collection tins in local businesses are well maintained, Julie plays a vital role in our community efforts in West Yorkshire.
Outside of her work, Julie is a social butterfly who loves spending time with friends and catching live music. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she often embarks on mini adventures to explore new places. Her thrill-seeking nature has led her to participate in many air-related activities, including skydiving, paragliding, parasailing, and most recently, a wing walk for charity.
An interesting fact about Julie is that she moved to New Zealand with her family when she was just one year old and lived there for nine years before returning to the UK!
