Volunteer Roles
There are several ways in which you can assist the Charity. All volunteers will receive training in each of their chosen areas of volunteering.
Fundraiser Volunteer
This role is an ‘all rounder’ and ideal if you are interested in assisting with a variety of events to help raise funds and awareness of the Charity.
You will be attending community events as a representative of YAA and typical duties would include working on and set up of a stall, attending a cheque presentation, collecting tins, wearing our mascot or bucket collecting at a supermarket!

Community Event Volunteer
As a Community Event Volunteer, you will predominantly be helping with the set up and management of stalls across the region, with our official merchandise on offer, and accepting donations.
These are in a large variety of locations, outdoor events or inside venues such as shopping centres and supermarkets.
The events we attend are lots of fun and no two days are the same. Our staff and volunteers always get a warm welcome where we go.
Public Speaker
Our speakers attend numerous locations in their area to talk to a variety of groups about the life-saving work of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
We provide the equipment along with an informative presentation and full training will be provided.
Our talks are extremely popular and most enjoyable.

Collecting Tin Steward
Our Collecting Tin Stewards visit many shops and businesses across our region. Collecting tins are a substantial income for the Charity.
The role will also include the counting and banking of these funds as well as ensuring the relevant paper is completed correctly.
